Getting started

Is Navira free?

Yes. The Free plan gives you access to all 18 cities, 5 AI chat messages per day, one AI itinerary, the full achievement system, and audio guides for one city.

How does pricing work?

Navira has two tiers: Free and Premium. Premium costs €15/month or €25/year and unlocks unlimited itineraries with full walking navigation, unlimited AI chat, all audio guide cities, document import, and more.

What happens when I upgrade to Premium?

You instantly unlock unlimited AI itineraries with GPS walking navigation, unlimited AI chat, audio guides in all 5 cities, AI tourism plans (30/month), document import with AI extraction (50/month), and unlimited saved plans.

Which cities are supported?

18 cities across 12 countries: Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Bruges, Bucharest, Budapest, Cluj-Napoca, Dubrovnik, Edinburgh, Florence, Istanbul, Kyoto, Lisbon, London, Paris, Prague, Rome, and Vienna. New cities are added regularly.

Which cities have audio guides?

Audio guides are currently live in 5 cities: Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and London. More cities are being added. Free users get access to one city; Premium unlocks all five.

How many attractions are in each city?

Each city has between 145 and 235 curated attractions, averaging ~177 per city. The total database has 3,100+ attractions. Every entry includes ratings, reviews, costs, opening hours, and category tags.

AI & itineraries

How is the itinerary generated?

You set your destination, budget, duration, pace, and interests. You can mark must-see attractions or exclude ones you don't want. An intelligent solver then optimizes the route for walking distance, opening hours, and budget — using pre-computed walking distances between every attraction pair.

How long does it take to generate an itinerary?

Typically under one minute. The solver handles route optimization asynchronously, and you'll see a loading state while it works. Maximum wait is about 3 minutes for complex multi-day plans.

Can I edit my itinerary after it's generated?

You can regenerate with different parameters (budget, pace, interests, must-see/exclude stops), but there's no drag-and-drop reordering of individual stops. Each regeneration produces a fully re-optimized route.

Can I export my plan to Google Maps?

Yes. Any day of your itinerary can be exported to Google Maps in one tap, which opens walking directions with all your waypoints.

Walking guide & audio

Does the Walking Guide work offline?

Partially. Map tiles and route polylines are cached after the initial load, and audio files are playable if previously loaded. However, the initial route fetch, stop enrichment, and AI chat require an internet connection. It's not fully offline-capable.

What are the audio guide listening styles?

Every stop with audio offers three styles: Brief (~2 minutes, quick overview), Narrative (~5 minutes, balanced story with history and tips — the default), and Chronicle (~10 minutes, deep historical context). Your preferred style is saved automatically.

How does GPS tracking work?

The Walking Guide uses your phone's GPS with high-accuracy mode. It detects your arrival at stops within 50 meters, auto-advances to the next stop, and reroutes if you wander more than 100 meters off-path.

Account & data

Is my data stored securely?

Yes. All data is stored securely in the EU with encrypted connections. Your itineraries, conversations, and documents are private to your account. We don't sell or share your travel data.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion through your account settings or by emailing support@naviraguides.com. All your data — itineraries, conversations, documents, and achievements — will be permanently deleted.

Can I cancel my Premium subscription?

Yes. Cancel anytime through your account settings. You keep Premium access until the end of your billing period, then automatically revert to the Free plan. Your data is preserved — you just lose access to Premium features.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Everything is preserved: itineraries, chat history, achievements, documents, and trips. You lose access to Premium-only features (walking guide, document AI, unlimited chat) until you re-subscribe.
